POSITION:Maintenance Technician

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assists the Maintenance Manager in maintaining the plant facilities, grounds, and equipment.Helps with necessary repairs.In the absence of the Maintenance Manager, assumes responsibility for all other related duties as directed and as needed.
EDUCATION/TRAINING:
Must have high school diploma or equivalent.Must hold a special engineer's license or be willing to obtain with required timeframe.Comprehensive knowledge of high and low pressure steam generation equipment.Must have a valid driver's license.
General knowledge of electrical and plumbing equipment.Knowledge of carpentry and general equipment repair.Familiarity with the location of various departments and grounds; and with policies, regulations, and procedures of the healthcare organization.
SKILL(S): Must have mechanical ability and interest in machines.
Must be able to read, write, and follow written and oral instructions.
Intermediate computer skills.

Superior organizational skills.
Decisive with a keen attention to detail.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
EXPERIENCE:
Prefer five or more years of experience in related position.
