Responsibilities
• Maintains and repairs operating equipment• Notifies Maintenance Supervisors of problems• Analyzes mechanical and operational problems• Completes required safety training• Completes parts requisitions• Notifies supervisor and production management of product quality issues• Performs maintenance tasks to ensure compliance with quality and GMP requirements• Completes work orders and enters time and materials in the CMMS system• Performs preventative maintenance tasks• Coordinates PMs with manufacturing, quality control, and management• Provides assistance to other maintenance employees• Assists in completion of capital and maintenance projects• Works during shutdown time to complete work orders• Clears choke-ups from conveyors• Follows LOTO procedures• Performs additional duties or tasks assigned by management• Keeps work area clean and hazard-free• Maintains accurate work orders• Drives company utility vehicles• Completes tasks assigned by plant management• Participates in Shift/Team activities• Participates in job-related training
Requirements
• Experience with installation of piping systems, pipe fittings, and welding• Ability to work during shutdown time• Ability to clear choke-ups from conveyors• Knowledge of LOTO procedures• Physical ability to bend and lift• Computer skills for maintaining work orders• Valid driver's license• Strong communication and teamwork skills
