Position Summary: We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this role you will have key responsibilities with equipment maintenance, installation and setup, Troubleshooting and operational monitoring. You will also be a key member of the team assisting in the move from our facility in Fort Worth to our new facility in Spring, Texas. Able to travel to and from Fort Worth staying in Fort Worth for a week at a time until we have fully relocated to Spring, Texas.
Responsibilities Perform regular preventive maintenance on production equipment.Diagnose, troubleshoot, update malfunctioning plant equipment. Replace or repair worn parts such as bearings, shafts, seals, and belts.Will assist in implementing new CMMS program as time permitsAssist in the decommission and factory move to Houston TXAssemble, install, and test new machinery and equipment and align and calibrate machines for optimal performance.Ensure compliance with technical specifications and safety standards during installations.Work closely with vendors to optimize the machines and ensure knowledge continuityIdentify root causes of mechanical failures and breakdowns.Collaborate with electrical and engineering teams for complex repairs.Record operational data to track performance trends.Train team members on proper use and maintenance of equipment.Respond to production line disruptions promptly to minimize downtime.Utilize industrial drill press to modify parts and equipmentFabricate or modify parts using welding and machining tools.Read and interpret blueprints or technical drawings for custom repairs.Adhere to LOTO (Lock Out/Tag Out) Qualifications: Reliability and attention to detail Problem-Solving and Technical analysis Mechanical AptitudeExperience with Preventive MaintenanceWelding and Fabrication SkillsKnowledge of Hydraulic and Pneumatic SystemsFamiliarity with CNC and Lathe MachinesAbility to read and understand mechanical schematicsExperience with automated systems and PLCsSafety awareness Certified Maintenance Mechanic (CMM) is a plus Work Environment and Physical Demands Exposure to manufacturing environment preferred.Wear protective safety equipmentMay be exposed to possible shop hazards including heaving machinery, fumes, dust, heat and high pressure and temperatures.Stooping, bending, walking and standing for the duration of work shiftComfortable standing for long periods and performing repetitive tasks.Must be able to lift at least 50lbsManual DexterityFollow all safety guidelines to ensure personal and team safety.
