We are seeking a Maintenance Technician for our Residential 2-story garden style community located in Thousand Oaks. The successful candidate will have a high level of skill in general apartment maintenance and repairs. We are looking for an individual with good communications skills, attention to detail and a high standard of professionalism to interact effectively with residents, peers, and the management team.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, providing timely and courteous daily response to resident maintenance requests, property clean up and general property maintenance. Ability to diagnose problems and make repairs in areas such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool, carpentry, dry wall, painting, exterior structural, and appliances.
Qualifications:
3 year's previous apartment maintenance experience preferred.
Candidates must be knowledgeable in all facets of maintenance including but not limited to basic knowledge of tools, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, drywall repair, painting, service requests, appliance repair and apartment make-ready's. Should be detailed oriented, ability to interact effectively with residents, peers, and management. Works well with little to no supervision and as part of a team.
Work schedule will include weekends, as well as a rotation schedule of on-call emergency responses.
