Maintenance Technician Details: 1st Shift Direct Hire Rochester Hills, MISummary: Performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, and conducting repairs as necessary on all machinery and equipment, including but not limited to filling equipment, pumps, conveyors, and forklifts. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, electrical knowledge, and experience working in a manufacturing environment. Responsibilities: Work independently and as part of a team to ensure that all maintenance and repair needs are met in a timely and efficient manner. Uses hand tools and power tools to install, set up, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair production equipment, material handling equipment and building systems. Performs scheduled and emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment including replacing defective parts, adjusting settings, and calibrating systems to ensure optimal performance. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment manuals, and inventory of spare parts.Qualifications: Strong mechanical and electrical skills. Proficiency in reading technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints to aid in troubleshooting and repairs. Experience with filling equipment, pumps, and forklifts is a plus.
