We are currently seeking knowledgeable, consistent, and personable Maintenance Technicians to join our Clifton and Hyde Park teams The Maintenance Technician positions are full-time, Monday-Friday, with an on-call assignment only every 6 weeks Maintenance Technicians start at $18/hour, including paid training, with plenty of room for growth within the company Additional Maintenance Technician Benefits : Uniforms, tools, work phone and on-call vehicle provided On-call bonus Free parking Employee Appreciation Events Paid Holidays Paid Time Off & Sick Days Profit Sharing Employee Resource Program Company sponsored teams: bowling, golf, volleyball 401(k) w/ company match Medical, vision, dental, disability and life insurance Maintenance Technician Responsibilities Include: Troubleshooting issues quickly and efficiently in: Basic plumbing Light electrical HVAC Driving company vehicle to multiple sites daily Performing maintenance and repairs in a timely, cost-effective manner Managing work orders and noting completion or escalated issues via iPhone app Completing make ready/turnovers Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a dynamic setting Provide superb customer service to residents, vendors, teammates, etc. Managing work orders via iPhone Maintenance Technician Qualifications: Valid driver's license HS Diploma or equivalent Minimum one year of experience in: light plumbing, light electrical, HVAC trouble shooting, apartment turnovers/make ready, facilities maintenance, or similar field Comfortable with hand tools Personable team-player Self-starter with critical thinking and problem solving skills Ability to participate in on-call rotation Ability to meet physical requirements: The position is considered to have moderate to heavy physical demands. While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be required to climb up to nine feet on ladders, work in overhead structures, walk, stand, twist, stoop, bend, squat, and kneel at least 90% of the workday. The employee will occasionally be required to lift, carry and/or move in excess of 100 pounds and frequently be required to lift, carry and/or move in excess of 50 pounds during the normal course of a workday.
