Red Peak is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our residential properties in Denver, Colorado. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing general maintenance and repairs on facility equipment and property structures, in addition to performing grounds maintenance. This position will play a vital role in maintaining the physical integrity of our properties and ensuring a safe, secure, and comfortable environment for our residents. **Responsibilities**:
1. Conduct routine inspections of premises and equipment to identify necessary repairs and maintenance.
2. Perform minor building, electrical, plumbing, and painting repairs as necessary.
3. Maintain all equipment as required per preventive maintenance programs.
4. Respond to emergencies quickly to minimize damage and inconvenience to residents.
5. Report to a facilities or maintenance manager for issues or observations regarding the property.
6. Implement preventative maintenance measures.
7. Maintain inventory of repair equipment and supplies.
8. Complete administrative tasks, such as reports, as required.
9. Ensure compliance with all safety and security protocols.
**Qualifications**:
1. High School Diploma or equivalent required; relevant technical certification is a plus.
2. Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician.
3. Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and other systems.
4. Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods.
5. Working knowledge of tools, common appliances, and devices.
6. Ability to work with minimal supervision while maintaining high energy.
7. Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills.
8. Good physical condition and strength with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work on feet for extended periods.
9. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
10. Ability to pass a background check and drug test.
