Mammography Technologist

*Job Summary:*The largest independently owned GYN practice in the Georgia is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate *Mammography Technologist* to join our dedicated team of healthcare professionals in our *Covington* location. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing screening and diagnostic imaging tests to help diagnose and treat breast cancer and other breast-related conditions. This is an opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of patients and contribute to the advancement of medical imaging technology.*Duties:*-Operate mammography equipment to capture high-quality images of the breast tissue.-Position patients and ensure their comfort during imaging procedures.- Explain the imaging process to patients and answer any questions or concerns they may have.-Review patient medical records and consult with radiologists to ensure accurate diagnosis.-Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient imaging procedures and results.-Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.-Maintain a clean and organized imaging environment, adhering to all safety protocols.-Participate in quality control measures to ensure the highest level of patient care.*Experience:*- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Mammography Technologist.- Familiarity with ER procedures and diagnostic evaluation techniques.- Knowledge of medical terminology and physiology.- Proficiency in mammography, X-ray, and other diagnostic imaging modalities.- Certification in mammography is required.- Ability to lift and move patients, as well as equipment, as needed.*Skills:*- Strong knowledge of mammography and diagnostic imaging principles.- Experience with CT scans and other advanced imaging modalities.- Excellent communication and patient interaction skills.- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.- Certification in mammography.*Must be extremely dependable.*Job Type: Full-timeBenefits:* 401(k)* 401(k) matching* Dental insurance* Health insurance* Life insurance* Paid time offSchedule:* Monday to FridayExperience:* Mammography: 1 year (Required)* Diagnostic evaluation: 1 year (Required)License/Certification:* Mammography Certification (Required)Ability to Relocate:* Social Circle, GA: Relocate before starting work (Required)Work Location: In person
