SUMMARY

The Payroll and Treasury Manager is responsible for overseeing HR Green's payroll processing, cash management, and treasury functions.
This includes managing weekly time/wage accounting, bi-weekly payroll processing, account reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with payroll regulations.
The role also involves overseeing wire transfers and disbursements and handling cash forecasting.
The Payroll and Treasury Manager plays a key role in managing the company's credit card and P-card systems, as well as contributing to overall financial strategy and efficiency.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Include, but are not limited to, the following:

Payroll Management:

Oversees weekly time/wage accounting and bi-weekly payroll processes.
Ensures accurate and timely processing of payroll, including handling 401k contributions and payroll tax compliance.
Manages account reconciliations related to payroll, ensuring all discrepancies are identified and resolved.
Treasury and Cash Management: Approves wire transfers and disbursements, ensuring compliance with internal controls.
Oversees cash forecasting, managing liquidity to ensure adequate cash flow for business operations.
Financial Reporting and Reconciliation: Prepares and reviews treasury-related financial reports, ensuring accuracy and timely distribution to the Executive Team.
Manages reconciliations of all treasury-related accounts, including payroll and cash accounts.
Credit Card and P-Card Systems: Oversees the company's credit card and P-card systems, ensuring proper usage and timely payment processing.
Reviews and approves P-card transactions and monitors compliance with company policies.
Auditing: Coordinates with external auditors and bankers for treasury-related audits and financial reviews.
Process Improvement and Compliance: Identifies opportunities to improve payroll and treasury processes and implements enhancements to streamline operations.
Ensures compliance with payroll and treasury regulations, including tax requirements, 401k contribution limits, and banking controls.
Team Supervision and Support: Provides oversight and support to the payroll and treasury team, assigning tasks and ensuring timely completion of responsibilities.
Assists in training and mentoring staff, ensuring adherence to best practices and internal policies.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
A minimum of 10 years' experience in payroll, treasury, or accounting roles, preferably in a service industry.
Strong knowledge of payroll systems, cash forecasting, and banking services.
Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) certifications preferred.
