In this vital role you will support a globally distributed team that cultivates a culture of security awareness and champions critical cybersecurity behaviors throughout the organization.
You will lead the execution of education programs, drive multi-functional collaborations, and support the ongoing evolution of security awareness to safeguard the company's assets and reputation.

As Manager, Cybersecurity Education & Awareness, you are expected to deliver services and solutions that support the mission, priorities, and objectives of Amgen's Cybersecurity & Digital Trust (CDT) team.
Responsibilities:
Serve as the Product Owner for Cybersecurity Education and Awareness Training and Communications, leading the development and execution of security-focused training programs and communication strategies
Lead development and delivery of the annual Security Education and Awareness compliance training for the Enterprise
Foster engagement with the cybersecurity change champion network, growing the community globally and driving participation in security awareness initiativesServe as the Product Owner for Cybersecurity Education and Awareness Training and Communications, leading the development and execution of security-focused training programs and communication strategies
Lead development and delivery of the annual Security Education and Awareness compliance training for the Enterprise
Foster engagement with the cybersecurity change champion network, growing the community globally and driving participation in security awareness initiatives
Lead the creation of content and training materials to educate staff on Information Security topics, ensuring they promote critical security awareness knowledge and behaviors across all regions of the organization.
Partner with Learning and Performance teams to develop impactful security awareness campaigns that drive engagement and reinforce key security principles.
Partner with staff, contractors, vendors, and IS and Business Leadership teams to ensure the success of cybersecurity education and awareness initiatives, aligning them with the organization's overall goals.
Develop, gain multi-functional support for, and execute strategies to improve information security, driving organizational change through role modeling good practices and crafting communication plans.
Support management of security awareness platforms and technology, including Outlook distribution lists and other tools.
Partner with IS, Legal, Corporate Affairs, and other groups to further the cybersecurity education and awareness program and strategy
Lead multiple Cybersecurity projects with limited oversight and work with product teams to develop organizational change management, communications, learning, and talent strategies for multiple IS initiatives
Expertly present at all-staff meetings, video conferences, and large venues to effectively convey information security education and awareness topics, both in person and in writing

Basic Qualifications:
Master's degree and 2 years of Change Management, Communications, and Cybersecurity experience OR
Bachelor's degree and 4 years of Change Management, Communications, and Cybersecurity experience OR
Associate's degree and 8 years of Change Management, Communications, and Cybersecurity experience OR
High school diploma / GED and 10 years of Change Management, Communications, and Cybersecurity experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with agile teams as a product owner or service owner
Experience developing and executing learning and performance programs
Ability to build and champion a network of change advocates and a corporate community, similar to a community leader who drives engagement and participation
Experience developing impactful and targeted project plans
Demonstrated program or project management skills
Ability to analyze data and communicate information effectively
Strong learning agility and technical skillset
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to independently manage priorities in a fast-paced, virtual team environment
Must be team-oriented, placing priority on the successful completion of team goals
Practical knowledge of Information Security standards and policies such as ISO 27001/27002, NIST, and others
Excellent interpersonal skills; enthusiastic, great teammate, and self-starter with a strong commitment to hard work and excellence
Natural curiosity for delivering innovative, people-focused strategies in talent, communications, change management, and learning that drive targeted, high-impact results
Comfortable with handling ambiguous and rapidly changing priorities
Proven ability to interact professionally with all levels of management, staff, and vendors

Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
CompTIA Security+
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
SANS Global Information Assurance Certifications (GIAC)

The expected annual salary range for this role in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is posted.
Actual salary will vary based on several factors including but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
