As a leader within the Platform group, and a member of the Technology and Product management team, you will directly contribute to Dialogue's mission of improving the health and wellness of our members by defining and driving its data strategy. You will lead and inspire the Data Analytics team, acting as a mentor, coach, and subject matter expert, across the entire organization and client groups.
The Data Analytics team, made up of Data Analysts and Data Scientists, is in charge of building data products that empower every Dialogue stakeholder to make strategic decisions and achieve their objectives by fostering data-driven practices. The team works closely and collaboratively with the Data Engineering team to build and deliver tooling and processes related to data modeling and governance. As manager, you will champion the team in achieving its goals, by driving its roadmap, and supporting its execution. You will work closely with all internal functional heads, as well as external clients and partners, to prioritize your team's objectives and needs, and drive long-term sustainability and scalability for the organization via creation and maintenance of data products.
What you'll be doing: Develop and nurture a strong multi-functional team of data scientists and data analysts, with healthy and collaborative working habits.Drive decision-making across all functions of the organization, by constantly absorbing and synthesizing their needs and translating them into data products and practices.Act as Product Owner of Dialogue's data products, managing stakeholder relationships, driving the roadmap, and constantly aligning against company needs.Deliver a world-class global reporting experience to clients and partners to demonstrate value and return on investment of Dialogue services.Work closely with the Data Engineering team, in building and operating a robust data pipeline, which your team will be important contributors to.We'd love to hear from you if you have or are most of the items below: 5+ years of experience in a data analytics role, or similar, with experience in a management role.History of strong customer and stakeholder-facing experience, with extraordinary communication skills, and the ability to present complex information in a simplified fashion to facilitate understanding and decision making.Good knowledge-base in data science and business analytics, preferably within a business with cross-play between operations and software-as-a-service.Proficient in SQL and Python.Experience within the B2B sector, with background delivering large-scale customer engagement reporting to drive and retain revenue.Able to communicate in both English and French.Able to work at least 3 days a week preferably from our Montreal office, or from our Toronto office.Nice-to-have: Experience with our stack (dbt, Snowflake, Metabase, Hightouch, Airflow).Please note that as we are serving clients located all across Canada, it is essential to be bilingual for this role.
