As a hands-on technical leader reporting to the CEO, you'll play a crucial role in architecting and developing data-driven solutions while leading a distributed engineering team.
This position combines technical expertise with leadership skills to drive our technology vision forward. This is a Hybrid role with in-office days in our Hayward, CA office.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead software development initiatives while maintaining hands-on involvementArchitect and develop data-producing/consuming software solutionsEnsure high-quality deliverables through well-designed, maintainable, and unit-tested codeSupport distributed web applications in a complex, evolving environmentManage the entire application lifecycle from design to monitoringLead and mentor a distributed engineering teamCollaborate across departments to align technical solutions with business goalsQualifications Required Qualifications: BS or advanced degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience5+ years hands-on Python development experienceStrong understanding of regulated environments (PCI DSS, ISO 27001, HIPAA, NIST)Experience with relational databases (MySQL)Proficiency in RESTful APIs and microservices architectureExperience with Atlassian toolset and Agile development methodologiesProven track record managing distributed development teamsHealthcare industry experience preferredKey Attributes:
