To ensure the availability of Power, water, steam and Air for process with very minimum interruptions.
To take care of all Infrastructural facilities for the plant and other utility services.
Administration of Engineering Department for smooth functioning.
Ensure Regulatory requirements of GPCB, DGVCL, GIDC, Boiler, Electrical, weight and measures, PESO and Regulatory compliances.
To allocate and control the stores and spare management in the company.
To implement necessary Preventive / Predictive maintenance in the department.
Monitor and control the use of power, fuel for boiler and DG, water consumption and prepare monthly data for all the utility. Maintain Efficient operation of Effluent treatment plant and RO operation and conserve the resources.
To lead and maintain environment management system in line with the Env. Policy and the local regulatory board and conserve the natural resources to the extent possible.

To achieve manufacturing productivity savings projected for year on year through various Lean Six Sigma projects / direct savings for engg.
Reduce stores and spares revenue expenditure from the plan for engg.
Goal-Profitable sales growth & Increased productivity.To meet electricity Kwhr / Kg – 1.176.
To achieve fossil fuel consumption as Kwhr/ Kg – 3.16.
To reduce water consumption and achieve plant water consumption to the tune of 40 litre/Kg of dyeing against the last year figure of 43.47 Litre/kg.
Goal- Profitable sales growth and increased productivity.To improve and meet waste water recovery of 75% from waste water recycling RO plant so as to reduce the natural resource of water.
Other General RequirementsMaintain all utility plants and machines in good condition.Maintenance of all plants and machines and Process machines.Carry out all scheduled maintenance as per plan.Achieve the department objectives set for the year. Action plan and Improvement plan to make.Formulate SOPs for all positions and train all employees and evaluate and review at regular intervals.Tracking of Utility Data for efficiency and initiate action to improve Utility performance.Break down data and analysis of break downs and actions to reduce breakdown.Calibration of Critical Instruments as per Calibration history card maintenance and Calibration.Prepare and maintain department manual as per ISO 9000/ IMS keep them up to date.Environment management and compliance with Local legislation.Management of revenue expenses within the allocated limit.To have Job Description for all Engineering personnel with the purpose of the positions and with the Key responsibilities.To establish channels of effective communication upward and downward.Design Training Programmes and schedule training and retraining of all personnel in the department.To evaluate training effectiveness of all personnel and prepare and preserve all training related record.To evaluate subordinate performance every quarter and report to HR manager copied to Mill Manager through PDR annually.To arrange resources and maintain them in good condition.To maintain Healthy and Safe working environment in the department.To impart training on the relevant areas of the Health and Safety Management systems pursued by the organization.To establish 5S system in the Department.To plan and rollout LSS projects to save energy and to keep Manufacturing cost and control.To maintain optimum efficiency of ETP operation to keep ETP treatment cost per kg of dyeing under control.Compliance of Regulatory requirements.ETP waste reduction possibilities.Achieve Sustainability targets set for the year.Knowledge, Experience, Skills and Abilities RequiredDimensionsKnowledge and understanding of:
Diploma and / (or) Graduate in Engineering.All Utilities, Engineering and Finishing machines.All Dyeing machines & controllers and its function.Engineering and Finishing machinery related SOP's.Health and Safety SOP and PPE requirements for different chemicals used at ETP and WTP.MSDS of chemicals used at ETP and WTP.Update on legal / regulatory compliances.ExperienceMinimum of 5 years' experience in Engineering department management.Knowledge in use of SAP and maintenance management system at Engineering and Finishing.Proficient in use of computer application.5 years' experience in handling ETP / Ro operation and liaison with Government regulatory bodies.Skills & AbilitiesTeam leadership capability.Team training capability.Excellent communication skills, proficient in English and understanding local language.
