For more information, visit nyit.edu. New York Techs Office of Academic Affairs seeks a Manager, Faculty Affairs and Academic Communications, reporting to the Provost of Academic Affairs.
This hybrid position will be based out of our Old Westbury campus and will play a major role in managing the faculty personnel processes governed by the collective bargaining agreement and developing a strategic communication plan for the Office of Academic Affairs.
Responsibilities:
Manage all Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) processes and programsCollaborate with faculty and administrators to develop and maintain a strategic communications plan for the Provost and the Office of Academic Affairs Oversee, manage, and recommend improvement to faculty management workflows, technology tools, and systemsSupport administration and academic units through all faculty personnel actions, including management of the e-portfolio platform and preparation of Board of Trustees meeting materialsMake data-informed recommendations to help improve the quality of the faculty experience and/or operational efficiency Maintain internal documentation relating to the CBA to ensure compliancePerform other projects as assigned by the provost
Qualifications:

New York Tech considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate experience/expertise, education/training, key skills, geographic location, internal peer equity as well as market, organizational considerations and/or applicable collective bargaining agreement when extending an offer.
Minimum Salary:
USD $80,000.00/Yr.
Maximum Salary:
USD $90,000.00/Yr.
