Opportunity As a Manager, Finance and Trading Operations, you'll play a critical role in the core operations of the firm. You'll collaborate closely with our Head of Operations to compile the firm's financial reporting for internal and external stakeholders. Additionally, you'll partner with the Head of Trading to manage allocations and work with our brokerage and ops partners to resolve exceptions. As Brooklyn finds itself at a juncture of accelerating growth, this operational role will have a front-row seat to further enhancing the firm's business processes and provide you with an opportunity to interact with strategic parties such as investors and the Board of Directors.
\n You will:Act as a first port of call for all finance-related questions, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting, and day-to-day financial operations Liaise with other members of the Brooklyn engineering team, and Brooklyn's distribution partners, to ensure that client billing processes are streamlined and accurateAct as the primary point of contact for trade reconciliation, interfacing with our middle office and custodian partnersPartner with the Head of Trading on handling exceptions of trade execution-related mattersPlay a leadership role to further automate finance and trade-related processes automationRegularly and, at times, proactively interact with existing, new, and potential investors, clients, and other strategic stakeholders, in order to enable the company's growthParticipate in due diligence processes and select compliance projects The role is a fit if you:Have an existing background in or enjoy corporate finance and / or accountingAre extremely organized, high energy, and able to balance many moving pieces at once in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Have deep attention to detailExhibit excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Are independent and able to exercise sound judgment when making time-sensitive decisions Are a fast learner that's adaptable and can grasp complex concepts quickly Bachelor's Degree from a top university or collegeInterest in asset and wealth management is a must
