At Client, our best leaders inspire their teams and foster collaboration. As Manager of Financial Reporting, you will play a critical role in ensuring accurate and compliant financial disclosures. You will lead technical accounting initiatives, contribute to SEC reporting, and oversee processes to align with our mission and values.
This position partners cross-functionally across teams, provides mentorship, and ensures that our financial reporting is both timely and precise.
Key Responsibilities:Accounting Operations:Oversee technical accounting areas such as consolidations, investments, stock-based compensation, equity, impairment assessments, debt, and more.Perform regulatory and accounting research to ensure compliance with SEC and NYSE standards.SEC Reporting:Participate in preparing quarterly (10-Q) and annual (10-K) filings.Ensure proper disclosure of material information in SEC reports.Leadership:Mentor and develop team members.Lead offshore team collaboration.Audits and Compliance:Partner with external auditors on technical issues.Ensure adherence to SOX 404 standards and perform reconciliation oversight.Miscellaneous:Support statutory audits and ancillary financial processes.Uphold company values in all interactions.Travel requirement: Up to 5% Qualifications – Non-Negotiable Requirements:Education & Certifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting.CPA certification or actively working toward CPA.Experience:At least 4 years in public accounting or 5-6 years in a public company with relevant experience.Strong U.S. GAAP expertise.Technical accounting background.Location:Must be based near Federal Way, WA, or have relocation plans.Nice-to-Have Skills:Experience leading offshore teams.Proficiency with Oracle, Hyperion, Essbase, or Workiva.
