Manager, Financial Systems

About the Role & Team We are seeking a Manager for Financial Systems to join our team at Disney Financial Systems.
As a key player within The Walt Disney Company, you'll lead the modernization and implementation of SAP's S/4 HANA general ledger software and other critical systems.
We are looking for a forward-thinking problem solver with strong operational understanding of accounting processes.

Responsibilities: Collaborate with finance, technology, and business partners to facilitate successful system implementation Develop and implement strategies to address finance needs and document agreed upon functional requirements Connect functional processes to organizational goals and develop solutions to system issues Coordinate and participate in finance-related testing efforts for system implementations Required Qualifications: 5+ years' work experience with accounting teams in a large company Deep knowledge of SAP accounting solutions and operational experience supporting an SAP GL platform Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to use data-driven insights Excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Preferred Qualifications: Experience using SAP or S/4 HANA system Experience in implementing financial processes and systems Education: Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) or equivalent work experience in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field
