Join Aprio's Government Contracting Team and you will help clients maximize their opportunities. Aprio is a progressive, fast-growing firm looking for a Manager to join their dynamic team.
Aprio is seeking a Manager with experience in all aspects of government contract administration. Our professionals in this group apply extensive industry knowledge in their delivery of efficient and effective consulting services to a wide variety of government contractors.
Position ResponsibilitiesCompliance with the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) including Agency supplements, especially: FAR part 15 Contracting by Negotiation, FAR Part 12 Commercial Contracting, FAR Part 3 Improper Business Practices.Government Contractor Proposals, to include: RFP Briefs, Cost Proposal Volume Management, Pricing, and Estimating Systems.Working knowledge or experience with Purchasing Systems.Negotiations with Contracting Officers on cost/price issues and terms and conditions.Representations and certifications.GSA Schedule task orders.GWAC contracts and task orders.Project management of clients and engagements.Networking to include: representing Aprio at professional organizations or committees, attending conferences, speaking engagements, blogging, and writing articles for industry publications.QualificationsAt least 5-9 years of experience working serving as a Manager of contracts for a Government contractor.Familiarity with FAR and DFARS provisions and clauses.Working knowledge of Small Business Administration (SBA) rules.Desire to work in a client-facing, consultative role including interacting with C-Suite executives.Strong computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite Software.Availability to work in the office two days per week is required.Bachelor's degree (in accounting or finance desirable).Why work for Aprio:Whether you are just starting out, looking to advance into management or searching for your next leadership role, Aprio offers an opportunity to grow with a future-focused, innovative firm.
