The Atlanta Community Food Bank is working to end hunger in our community with the food, people and big ideas needed so that no one worries about where their next meal is coming from. Since 1979, we've been providing food for a growing network of nonprofit partners – including food pantries, community kitchens, child-care centers, night shelters and senior centers. We currently serve more than 700 partners in 29 counties across metro Atlanta and north Georgia.

About the Role: The individual in this position is responsible for leading, writing and driving the development and implementation of routines, SOP's, procedures, processes, and reporting tools to successfully achieve Atlanta Community Food Bank inventory management standards. This role will ensure compliance with inventory movement & controls, assess supply and demand activity, and report on product receipt, inventory accuracy and distribution performance. This position is responsible to perform as the Super User / Process Owner / Enforcer of Processes for the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and Product Barcoding system tools.
What You'll Do: Inventory ControlMaintains compliance with inventory management standardsDirects and analyzes daily blind cycle count audit activitiesEnsures completion of inventory reconciliations processes daily, weekly, monthly and as neededCoordinates month-end and year-end processes for inventory management and compliance for all channels in food bank (warehouse, CFC, HAC)Recommends process and/or standards changes to drive improvement in inventory control results and activitiesManages the inventory location assignment and data structureData Management/AnalysisProvides reporting and analysis of inventory status and discrepancies weekly, monthly, and on an as needed basisEnsures monthly and annual product receipt, inventory, and distribution performance and data reporting is completed accurately and on time for Organization and Feeding AmericaDevelops and provides product receipt, inventory and distribution data reporting and analysis as needed to support continuous improvementIdentifies opportunities and recommends solutions to improve existing inventory management systemsWork in conjunction with ACFB teams to ensure that all auditing of our processes and procedures are in accordance with established guidelines.Technical TrainingDevelops and maintains technical knowledge of WMS and Barcode system data structure and logic, including interactions with other ERP tools (ie.
