We are working with a prominent healthcare facility in Ft. Walton Beach, Florida, to find an experienced Manager of Intensive Care Unit (ICU). This hospital, a 336-bed Level II Trauma Center, is seeking a dynamic nursing leader to oversee its ICU operations, which includes a 42-bed Critical Care unit. This position offers a great opportunity to lead a high-performing team within a facility that provides comprehensive care for critically ill patients.

Salary Range: $95,000 - $110,000 per year (based on experience)

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the daily operations and staffing of the ICU to ensure the highest quality of patient-centered care. Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory standards while fostering a culture of accountability. Manage patient admissions and discharges for efficient care throughput. Facilitate interdisciplinary care coordination within and across departments. Lead staff performance evaluations, scheduling, and employee engagement efforts to maintain a motivated team. Manage department expenses, optimize the use of supplies and equipment, and identify cost-saving opportunities. Support the hospital's objectives by enhancing patient safety and clinical outcomes through evidence-based practices. Required Qualifications: 3+ years of recent acute care leadership experience in a critical care setting (as a Charge RN, Supervisor, or Manager). Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required. Active Florida RN licensure. BLS and ACLS certifications required at the time of hire. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in managing a large ICU department, including neuro, trauma, surgical, and respiratory critical care cases. Proven track record in staff leadership and resource management in a fast-paced hospital environment.
