Supernal provides an inviting open-space workplace designed to foster collaboration, which aligns with one of our core values. This position is required to work on-site 5 days a week.
What we do: The Internal Communications Manager will serve as a key voice on the Communications & Brand team and work on high-visibility corporate and cross-function projects and initiatives. The role will develop innovative corporate communications strategies that strengthen Supernal's reputation and employee engagement. Works alongside the head of corporate communications & brand to develop, implement, and champion a multiyear internal communications strategy that is clear, timely and effective, connects brand purpose, vision, and core values to employee touchpoints, communicates with transparency, and facilitates employee engagement.
What you can do: Develop communication strategy and plans for core operations functions, such as HR, finance, procurement, and IT, and/or other parts of the business, to help achieve their goals and objectives (e.g., open enrollment, performance review process, program/imitative launches, town halls, policy updates, etc.) Coordinate and lead internal events (e.g., town halls, fireside chats) Develop internal messaging around major business announcements, achievements, and key initiatives Conduct yearly internal communications assessment and create a calendar of communication opportunities Identify communication gaps within the company and provide solutions and recommended actions Partner with leaders of talent acquisition and brand management to develop and foster a strong employer brand, and partner within C&B to curate image and asset library Identify and establish standard methodologies, processes, and communications expectations for business and workforce Other duties as assigned What you can contribute: A bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred A minimum of ten (10) years of progressive communications experience with a focus on internal communications, change communications and leadership transitions (an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered). Aviation, aerospace, or startup experience preferred, but not required Ability to take complex technical topics and create relatable content for all employees Acute attention to detail, including an eye for content and presentation design, program, and event management An energetic and solutions-forward approach A detailed understanding of internal communications tools and resources, including Axios, Confluence, Canva etc. Committed to supporting a collaborative, engaging and inclusive work environment where all ideas, people and perspectives are seen, heard, valued, and respected Excellent verbal and written communication skills A proactive delivery of communication and follow up Must have the ability to work well within a team and independently and drive to deadlines You may also be able to contribute: Work onsite five days a week Travel (domestic and international trips, approx. 20%) Base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and location. This position is also eligible for a bonus as part of total compensation.
