Job ResponsibilitiesResponsible for coordinating the inventories at the Distribution Center, and keeping their manager informed of potential problems and offering advice as appropriate.Maintain a constant dialogue with Production Planners and ensure they are provided the necessary real-time information to aid in the maintenance of the inventory at both locations.Coordinate all inventory questions with Customer Service and Production Planning.Coordinate the effort to reduce "Overages, Shortages and Damaged" Claims and ensure credit is applied as necessary with corrections to inventory as appropriate.Pay particular attention to "Discontinued" items and aid in their prompt elimination.Coordinate the listings of the ASW systems as they pertain to inventory and initiate corrective actions as appropriate.Coordinate all inventory adjustments made in the distribution center.Serve as the ASW Training Coordinator and assist the manager by conducting ASW refresher training as necessary.Stay informed on inbound shipments and be prepared to make recommendations and/or prioritize as necessary to balance inventory.Other duties as assigned.QualificationsBachelor's degree (B. A.) from a four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations, and permutations.Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory, and factor analysis.Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
