Role description:  The Job Change Manager oversees the production line equipment setup and ensures job changes are such that glass containers are manufactured effectively and efficiently, meeting customer requirements and production efficiencies. 
Responsibilities:  Work with operators and upkeep personnel to establish and maintain process control 
Direct and supervise job changes to ensure proper standard operating procedures are being followed 
Evaluate job changes after startup and provide guidance and direction to employees in reducing defects 
Document job changes and review histories to assure the repeatability of proper setups 
Work with cold-end supervisors to observe and ensure machine inspection equipment and line flow is at optimal production levels 
Observe and assist in plant production as needed 
Establish and maintain a safe and healthy environment consistent with Ardagh Glass Packaging's policies and procedures while striving for zero accidents 
Maintain an effective working relationship within functional areas and with other departments ensuring effective and timely communication 
Comply with operational, environmental, and food safety standards as outlined in plant policies and programs within the department 
Minimum skills / qualifications: 
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Five (5) years of experience in glass manufacturing with an emphasis on the forming process
• Three (3) years of job change experience
• Prior experience with the plant's forming process (i.e. press, blow-and-blow, etc.)
• Prior experience with mold repair, machine repair, and job changes
• Excellent communication skills 
• Proficient organizational, analytical, and planning skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to work in a heavy industrial, high-risk work environment
• Ability to work outside of regular work hours
• Ability to prioritize work and have a sense of urgency
• Ability to travel up to 5%
Preferred skills / qualifications: 
• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a related discipline
• Eight (8) years of experience in glass manufacturing with an emphasis on the forming process and job change experience
