Responsibilities: Manages and plans for logistics policies, objectives, and initiatives. May manage a team or act as a lead on a project. Creates procedures for logistics management to optimize product workflow and minimize cost. Has responsibilities for vendor selection and negotiation, distribution, transportation, and inventory control. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhere to approved budgets.
Operational managers utilizing in-depth knowledge, advanced problem solving skills and an awareness of Worley priorities to translate strategic direction into tactical plans and implementation activities. Guided by functional practices, management precedents, and professional standards. Decisions are typically of a tactical variety. Able to develop conclusions from analyses and apply results to Worley business operations. Decisions are typically based on extensive business acumen and seasoning.
Minimum Requirements: University Degree, or equivalent, in related field or applicable discipline, or equivalent relevant experience. Typically has several years of relevant experience including supervisory, project management and/or technical experience.
