Collins Aerospace is looking for a Manager, Manufacturing Operations who will be responsible for leading the operations organization as well as driving current and future business development opportunities that align with site strategy and capabilities. In addition, you will act as a customer focal point, ensuring customer quality, delivery, and cost expectations are met. As a Senior Operations leader you will also be responsible for working alongside other organizations and operations functions to optimize business processes and develop talent within the manufacturing site.

This position will be working onsite in Foley, AL.

Relocation assistance is available.

Primary Responsibilities:
Responsible for management and oversight of the operations organization ensuring daily production requirements are met and driving corrective action for any deviations to plan
Serve as a people leader and face of the organization to external customers as well as internally within the company.
Extensive experience coaching and developing high performing employees and teams
Collaborate with business development, strategy, and engineering teams on new business identification, pursuit, and capture
Experience with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement tools and methodology
Strong customer focus with an emphasis on meeting customer requirements for quality, delivery, and cost
Understanding of materials processes, scheduling, and inventory optimization
Collaborate with a wide variety of functional areas inside and outside the organization to develop and provide support to the needs of the business.
A caring people leader, fostering an inclusive team and helping them to develop professionally by providing actionable feedback, opportunities for training and stretch assignments.
Serve as a customer advocate for product development, production support issues, repair, and overhaul.
Ability to build credibility within teams and interact with and influence key stakeholders in a matrixed organization; ability to build strong relationships.

Qualifications/ Experience Needed:
Typically requires University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience
U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required.

2+ years of supervisory experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in manufacturing operations and all adjacent functions
Demonstrated leadership attributes and ability to influence business objectives.
Clear, concise communicator.
Experience with Continuous Improvement principles (CORE, QCPC, etc.).
Strong command of MS Office applications, specifically MS PowerPoint and Excel.

The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
