Manager of Cash Management and Collection - Office of the Chief Financial Officer - Georgetown UniversityThe Manager of Cash Management and Collection is responsible for cash management, collection, and reporting of sponsored funds. They are accountable for the federal letters of credit drawdown to ensure compliance with the terms of sponsored awards and applicable laws and regulations, cash reporting to federal sponsors, and cash payments received from sponsors are accurately accounted for and that proper documentation is maintained within the University's Financial System (GMS). As well, they monitor the sponsored projects accounts receivable listing and ensure complete collection of outstanding funds in support of accurate financial reporting; and act as a resource for the financial analysts and campus finance staff, providing information on cash receipts from sponsors and helping to ensure that operational responsibilities are fulfilled, policies are enforced, and customer service goals are reached. They also work on special projects, as assigned.
Requirements and Qualifications: Bachelor's degree - preference for an MBA5 to 7 years of specific work experience with grants and contractsFamiliarity with Letter of Credit draws and reportingAbility to manage staffDemonstrated knowledge and skills in computerized financial softwareDemonstrated understanding of research administration processesKnowledge of OMB Uniform Guidance, and with federal agency and external sponsor accounting and reporting requirementsKnowledge of complex accounting systemStrong oral and written communication skillsStrong accounting and Microsoft Office skills, and attention to detailWork Mode: Hybrid
Pay Range: $54,616.00 - $100,493.33
