Manager Of Software Engineering

Our client has an opening for a hands-on Software Engineering Manager/Lead. This is a full-time direct hire role with a rapidly growing company based out of Philadelphia. The role will work on a hybrid model.
Responsibilities: Provide technical leadership and vision, ensuring the engineering team aligns with strategic business objectives.Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex software solutions using Java, Spring, JPA, and Postgres.Champion the adoption and implementation of CI/CD pipelines to streamline the software delivery process.Foster a collaborative and high-performing engineering team by mentoring, coaching, and providing career development opportunities.Manage technical debt and promote best practices in software development, including version control with Git and project management with Atlassian tools.Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, design, etc.) to ensure seamless software delivery.Champion technical innovation, staying abreast of the latest trends in Java and web technologies.Develop and maintain strong relationships with key vendors and partners.Apply a working knowledge of TCP/IP networking principles to inform software design decisions.Qualifications: In-depth knowledge of Java, Spring, JPA, Postgres, CI/CD technologies, Git, and Atlassian tools.Working knowledge of TCP/IP networking concepts.Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.Ability to mentor and guide junior engineers.Passion for building and inspiring high-performing teams.To apply, please send your resume to ******.
