Job Description Summary:
The Manager of Workforce Development will be responsible for implementing and evaluating workforce development programs to enhance the skills and employability of our workforce. This will include managing service delivery such as, case management services, barrier removal, resource navigation, job preparation, and retention services. Assist leadership with the development of strategies for mission driven impact and plans implementation steps.

Knowledge/Abilities
The role requires a strong understanding of the unique needs of justice-involved individuals who are unemployed or underemployed. Candidates must maintain a current knowledge of best practices in trauma-informed care and strengths-based case management, as well as the barriers faced by justice-impacted residents. Effective interaction with diverse stakeholders—including funding sources, political officials, and community leaders—is necessary.

Responsibilities: Strategic Workforce Planning:Collaborate with departmental leaders to assess current and future workforce needs.  Develop and implement comprehensive workforce plans aligned with organizational goals. Identify and leverage external resources to support workforce development efforts. Talent Acquisition and Retention:Implement effective talent acquisition strategies to attract top talent. Develop and execute retention strategies to minimize turnover and foster employee engagement.Oversee the recruitment, hiring, and onboarding processes for new employeesTraining and Development:Design and deliver high-quality training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge. Develop and maintain a comprehensive training curriculum. Provide ongoing coaching and mentoring to support employee growth and development.Performance Management:Establish performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure employee performance. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.  Implement performance improvement plans as needed.Employee Engagement:Foster a positive and inclusive work environment. Implement employee engagement initiatives to boost morale and productivity. Encourage open communication and feedback from employees.Compliance and Risk Management:Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations.  Identify and mitigate potential risks to the organization's workforce. Develop and implement policies and procedures to support workforce development initiatives.Data Analysis and Reporting:Track and analyze workforce data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement. Generate regular reports on workforce metrics and KPIs. Use data-driven insights to inform decision-making and strategic planning.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in social work, human services, vocational rehabilitation, or related field (Master's degree preferred)  At least 3 years of experience in supported employment or vocational rehabilitation  Strong leadership and team management skills  Knowledge of local labor markets and job development strategies  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills  Familiarity with relevant regulations and standards in the field of supported employmentBenefits:
