JOB SUMMARY:
Accountable for long term planning and project management of effective organizational development systems, strategies and processes. Provides organizational development and systems support to enhance UOR and UDX culture, effectiveness and ability to achieve strategic business goals. Consults and coaches leaders regarding application of Organization Development tools and processes to achieve superior business results.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provides coaching, consulting and facilitation to leaders and work groups to understand key HR issues and business needs and offer support. Researches and analyzes critical HR issues and proposes viable solutions to enhance organizational performance and productivity. Markets OD products and services internally to Universal clients and provides guidance and direction to UO leaders regarding Organization Development strategies and initiatives to lead organization to increased effectiveness.
Supports development, implementation, analysis and communication on systemic HR systems and processes to improve individual, team and organizational effectiveness through critical OD initiatives including: strategic employee listening strategies like engagement (TSAT) and lifecycle surveys and cultural/leadership feedback tools, Performance Management and Development, Succession Planning/Talent Review, Team Effectiveness, Organization Structure/Alignment, Selection/Assessment and Ad Hoc Surveys.
Provides overall project management and systems and technology support for critical OD initiatives outlined above to support needs across Universal Orlando Resort including Epic Universe, and alignment across Universal Destinations & Experiences.
Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
Perform other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION:
Master's degree in Organizational Behavior, Industrial Organizational Psychology, Instructional Design, Human Resources Management, Change Management, or Organization Development required.
EXPERIENCE:
5-7 years of Organization Development, Change Management and/or HR experience as an internal practitioner; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
