Lead Planning workstreams and Vehicle Milestones and drive critical strategic studies with a focus on key studies for their program segments.
What you'll do...
Product Planning
Lead development of compelling product concept / proposition to meet customer needs and Program compatibility across Desirability, Feasibility and Viability
Lead process with functions and attribute leads to define efficient program content that meets all program requirements
Develop and maintain program assumptions to support the Planning process & milestone requirements
Demonstrate thought leadership by proactively anticipating key issues and addressing them through collaborative problem solving
Drive feature and experience creation/prioritization and incorporation; Support customer research events
Drive competitive cost and investment targets to be compatible with profitability goals and strategic pricing, Lead business case analyses of program choices; optimize Corporate financial targets
Create Milestone papers and lead cross-functional pre-reviews; Develop narrative, financial schedules, action descriptions and deliverable assessments that lead to approval. Present aligned PoV at leadership forums.
Champion product planning team culture, Voice initiatives, and people development
Cycle Plan & Lifecycle Studies
Drive the team to identify product gaps/opportunities then lead studies with a recommendation for Cycle Plan disposition
Ensure product strategy and lifecycle cadence delivers competitiveness and long-term profit goals for the segment
You'll have...
Preferred Position Qualifications:
Engineering or Business degree and possible advanced business degree
Strong passion for the customer, product, strategy, and innovation
5+ years' experience across Program/PT/Tech Planning, Program Management, Product Strategy, and/or Product Marketing
Strong Ford OS behaviors in Own it, Deliver It, Bias for Action
Self-motivated, eager to take responsibility and deliver results with minimal supervision.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including strong presentation skills to Senior Leaders.
Experience working across cultural and organizational borders

Master`s degree
10+ years of experience in product planning, product management, product strategy, and/or product marketing.
