The Opportunity We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Manager, Regional Operations to oversee the success and health of operations within a designated region. This role is essential in ensuring our national business operates seamlessly on a regional scale by addressing challenges, optimizing processes, and improving the overall customer experience on the local level. The ideal candidate will eat, sleep and breathe their region, serving as it's champion and chief problem solver.
This person will have a broad focus, encompassing everything from ensuring readiness for incoming projects in the sales pipeline to maintaining and improving the performance of installed devices. They will proactively identify systemic issues impacting their region and develop innovative solutions to enhance efficiency, reliability and customer satisfaction.
We are filling positions in the Mountain, Pacific Northwest, Midwest, Northeast, Mid Atlantic and South regions. Candidates should live in one of the following states (Utah, Colorado, Arizona, New Mexico, Nebraska, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, West Virginia, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Washington DC, Maryland, Delaware or Texas. )
The Skillset 6+ years of experience in operations management, project management, regional management or a similar role; startup experience a plus
Proven success in managing complex operations in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire diverse teams, driving accountability and results
Strong collaboration skills to align cross-functional teams and foster a shared vision
Passion for improving the customer experience, with a focus on operational excellence
Ability to balance customer needs with business objectives
Strong analytical skills to diagnose root causes of systemic issues and develop effective solutions; SQL experience a plus
Creativity and adaptability – your job will change everyday
Proficiency in managing projects from inception to completion, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and persuasively
Familiarity with operational tools, project management software, and performance tracking systems

The First 30 Days - listen & learn Get out in the field and meet your cross-functional partners in your region. You'll do ride-alongs with our field technicians, join customer meetings and sit down with our Customer Success & Project Mgmt teams to learn everything you can about your region/customers
You'll present your findings to your manager.
The First 60 Days - take action Take what you learned from your various meetings and start deploying solutions. Drive the cross-team collaboration to get all stakeholders on board and deploy 2-3 changes.
Perform a day-in-the-life of someone on all of the functional Implementation teams – ensure you know the ins & outs of their world.
Use these as an opportunity to embed yourself within the broader Delivery organization and embrace Flock's culture of innovation.
90 Days & Beyond Present vision for longer term opportunity areas and systemic issues you've identified.
Own the Operations/Delivery metrics for your region and report out on them on a weekly basis.
Be an escalation point for any & all issues in your region. You are the first line of defense and should have your ear to the ground at all times.

The Hiring Manager Interview: You will meet with your potential future boss to really dive into the role, the team, expectations, and what success means at Flock. This is your chance to really nerd out with someone in your field.
The Technical Assessment: Our technical assessments seek to test the hard skills required to do the job. Engineers may find themselves in coding interviews or architecture discussions, sales roles may present mock discovery calls, and leadership roles may craft 90 day plans. Your recruiter will inform you of which assessment you will be assigned and ensure you are fully prepared for your big day.
The Panel: Learn more about the team, responsibilities, and workflows. You should be prepared to speak about past projects, how you collaborate and communicate with others, and how you live our values. Depending on the team and role you are interviewing for, you may meet with several teammates as well as cross-functional partners.
The Executive Review: A chance to meet an executive and view Flock from a different lens. Be prepared to ask well-thought-out questions about the company, culture, and more.
Salary & Equity In this role, you'll receive a starting salary between $120,000 and $180,000 as well as Flock Safety Stock Options.
