JOB SUMMARY:
Lead a team that uses analytics to drive revenue growth through pricing, product development, menu engineering, and promotions for our Global Business partners in Merchandise, Food & Beverage, Express, and potentially other businesses. Deliver findings with visual tools and presentations that inform and inspire internal stakeholders to make better business decisions. Support and mentor Revenue Management Analysts to be able to produce superior analysis and pricing decisions.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead a team of analysts and individually participate in formulating and applying advanced analytical approaches in the development of revenue management analysis for Merchandise, Food & Beverage, Express, and potentially other businesses. Develop strategies that will drive optimal pricing decision making and lead to incremental operating cash flow.
Understand and interpret the outputs of the Revenue Management System to provide Global pricing recommendations across UO, USH, USJ, and UBR, collaborate with product owners to refine pricing decisions and implement pricing recommendations. Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting to further enhance visibility and transparency to forecasts and performance.
Develop novel analytical approaches to ad hoc problems that may arise periodically. These may be in the areas of product development, questions from senior leadership, understanding and explaining sales performance, or managing sales capacity.
Utilize forecasts from our data scientists to produce budgets and communicate revenue expectations and expected pricing impacts to senior leadership.
Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UDX policy, procedures, training, and team member involvement activities.

EDUCATION:
High school degree or GED is required.
Bachelor's degree is required.
Master's degree is preferred.
Bachelor's and MS. degrees in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Management Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, or equivalent.
EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in the field or in a related area
