A specialty finance company is seeking a Trade Accounting & Operations Manager/ Senior Associate to join their team.
The Banking Middle Office Professional plays a crucial role in supporting the operations of a financial services institution.
The middle office ensures that transactions are accurately processed, risks are managed, and legal requirements are met.

Responsibilities:
The Trade Accounting & Operations Manager/ Senior Associate will:
Transaction Processing:
Collaborate with the front office personnel to process and book transactions.
Ensure timely and accurate settlement of trades, including trade confirmation and reconciliation.
Monitor trade lifecycle events (e.g., trade amendments, cancellations).
Risk Management: Assess and manage risks associated with financial transactions.
Monitor market, credit, and operational risks.
Implement risk controls and compliance measures.
Profit and Loss (P&L) Calculation: Compute profits or losses generated by the front office.
Analyze P&L data to identify trends and anomalies.
Legal Support: Review deals and agreements negotiated by the front office to ensure compliance with legal requirements.
Collaborate with legal teams to address any legal issues.
Information Technology (IT): Work closely with IT officers to maintain and enhance technology systems used in the middle office.
Automate processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Financial Control: Assist in financial reporting and reconciliation.
Ensure accurate accounting and record-keeping.
Collaboration: Liaise with both front office and back office teams.
Communicate effectively to resolve any discrepancies or issues.
Requirements: 4+ years of product control or operations experience Desired Skills: Product Exposure
