We're looking for a Software Engineering Manager to join Snap's Ad Data Infra team, which has the mission to streamline and fortify the backbone of our monetization data processing infrastructure.
What you'll do: Manage and mentor a team of engineers, in a fast-paced, quick-to-market environment.Set the strategy, build a roadmap, create measurable goals, and lead your team to deliver.Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, and be the interface between Monetization engineering and our infrastructure partners.Evaluate the technical tradeoffs of major decisions and be a strong technical mentor.Hire, grow, and retain high-performing team members.Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Background with building high availability and mission-critical systems.Experience with leading an engineering team.Ability to lead and execute large, complex technical initiatives.Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's in a technical field such as Computer Science or equivalent experience.8+ years of experience working in software engineering.2+ years of experience managing a team.Preferred Qualifications: Track record of delivery in rapidly changing, highly collaborative, multi-stakeholder environments.Experience with Ops-heavy systems/products.Hands-on experience with Kafka, Flink, or Google Cloud Dataflow.Proficiency in using Google BigQuery.Hands-on experience with building solutions on modern data ingestion, processing, and warehousing infrastructure.If you have a disability or special need that requires accommodation, please provide us some information.

Compensation: In the United States, work locations are assigned a pay zone which determines the salary range for the position. The base salary range for this position is:
Zone A (CA, WA, NYC): $222,000-$333,000 annually.Zone B: $211,000-$316,000 annually.Zone C: $189,000-$283,000 annually.This position is eligible for equity in the form of RSUs.
