Manager - Stock Administration Services This is a role for a results-focused, growth-oriented professional in the stock administration profession to join and play a leadership role in our stock plan services consulting practice. The role blends technical expertise in stock administration, a client-centric approach to service, and growing and developing a team.
As a Manager, you'll apply your experience in stock administration to lead client engagements of varying capacities, from full outsourcing to project-specific support. You will both oversee client relationships and directly contribute to them as an early member of this new practice within the broader Equity Methods services portfolio. You will grow and manage a team, learn how to manage a distinct business unit, and develop process architecture to facilitate scaling and reduce risk.
The Role in a Nutshell Manage and train a team of 1 to 3 stock plan administrators to support daily processing needs and research items for clients.Contribute directly to client engagements, ensuring consistently outstanding client satisfaction, high responsiveness, and accurate work product.Examples of project types include:Full outsourcing, involving processing stock plan transactions, filing the appropriate regulatory filings, interacting with payroll teams and platforms, and fielding clients' questions related to the equity programs.Assisting with equity administration transitions, supporting clients to implement new equity administration systems and other project-management related items during implementations.RFP support, involving managing the RFP process, identifying key objectives, interviewing and assessing platforms, and presenting findings.Administration of ESPP plans – managing enrollments, tracking of terminations/withdrawals and process share purchases.Manages end-to-end processing of grants, award terminations, equity vesting, exercises, share pool tracking, etc.Draft Forms 3, 4 and 5 to report Section 16 officer and director transactions in SEC filings.Respond to employee questions about stock awards and manage shared stock administration mailbox.Supporting employees to set up 10b5-1 trading plans. Manage and distribute work across team members through proactive capacity planning.Develop team members through coaching and mentoring, create accountability, and support recruiting efforts to continuously drive excellence in hiring.Liaison with senior leadership to develop world class scalable processes for the Equity Administration Department and implement best practices with effective controls, with a focus on automation of routine work streams and manual processes.Supporting day-to-day client interactions in a way that demonstrates accountability, upholds quality standards, and ultimately delivers client delight through ongoing improvement of the client experience. You will quickly become the face of Equity Methods to clients and they will count on your expertise and project management for high-stakes deliverables.Designing, implementing, and documenting processes to proactively manage risk and drive efficiency. Identify opportunities for automation of routine work streams to improve efficiency and create lasting client value.In collaboration with your Director mentor within the firm, develop managerial dashboards to monitor engagement profitability, utilization, cross-firm collaboration, and other tools that prepare you for broader business management experience.Drive client acquisition and growth by visiting clients to nurture relationships, presenting at conferences, and contributing to our best-in-class thought leadership.
