JOB SUMMARY: The Manager, Supplier Relations will oversee and strengthen relationships with pharmaceutical wholesalers and vendors providing brand and generic pharmaceuticals, OTC products, medical devices, and other healthcare items, ensuring supplier satisfaction and strengthening marketplace offerings. These suppliers sell directly to pharmacies (independent, long-term care, and chain), medical offices, and healthcare facilities through our marketplace platform. The role will focus on managing supplier relationships, resolving escalations, enhancing performance, expanding the supplier base, strengthening supplier engagement, and driving growth through strategic partnerships with wholesalers, pharmaceutical manufacturers, and channel partners. Reporting directly to the VP of PrimeRx MARKET, this remote role involves 50% travel for supplier meetings, channel partnership development, and industry events.
\n KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Serve as the primary point of contact for suppliers on the PrimeRx MARKET platform, fostering strong, collaborative, and proactive partnerships.Manage escalations related to supplier performance, including order delays or issues raised by customer service teams. Develop and implement a supplier scorecard to track performance, benchmarks, and business insights. Conduct quarterly business reviews with suppliers to discuss performance metrics, growth opportunities, and strategic initiatives. Strategically identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers to enhance marketplace diversity and offerings. Analyze pricing and market trends to help suppliers optimize their offerings and increase sales through the platform. Collaborate with channel partners to strengthen supplier engagement and increase product visibility. Partner with leadership to deliver insights and actionable strategies on supplier performance, marketplace trends, and growth opportunities. JOB COMPETENCIES:Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills.Proven ability to drive revenue through strategic collaboration and supplier optimization.Analytical mindset with experience interpreting performance data and identifying growth opportunities.Highly organized with project management and multitasking abilities.Effective communicator, capable of presenting data, strategies, and proposals to suppliers and internal stakeholders.Results-driven, adaptable, and detail-oriented. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (required).Licensed Pharmacist with experience in vendor management or marketplace operations (preferred).Minimum 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical account management, vendor partnerships, or procurement, including business development and sales.Proficiency with CRM systems for managing and analyzing supplier data (required).Familiarity with supplier management tools (preferred).Ability to travel up to 50%. WORKING CONDITIONS: This is a remote role with 50% travel, requiring a home office setup and frequent engagement with suppliers and industry events.
\n$100 - $130 a year
The salary for this position may vary depending on the candidate's location due to regional cost of living differences. Final compensation will be determined based on the candidate's skills, experience, and educational background.
