Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced Managing Director with expertise in selling clinical and regulatory consulting services to life sciences companies. This role will focus on developing and securing new business opportunities, helping expand Danforth's footprint.
Responsibilities: Develop and execute a business development strategy targeting life science companies requiring clinical development and regulatory consulting services.Build strong relationships with senior decision-makers in clinical and regulatory departments of life science organizations.Drive revenue growth by securing clinical consulting engagements, including clinical trial management, regulatory support, and other development services.Collaborate with internal subject matter experts to develop customized client proposals that demonstrate Danforth's unique value in the clinical consulting space.Represent Danforth at clinical research and regulatory conferences, roundtables, and industry events to build brand recognition and generate leads.Maintain a strong pipeline of business development opportunities across Danforth's clinical and regulatory offerings.Minimum Qualifications: 12+ years of business development experience in the life sciences industry, with a focus on clinical development, regulatory or CRO services.Extensive network and relationships with clinical development and regulatory leaders at biotech, pharmaceutical, and CRO companies.Demonstrated success in securing clinical development contracts and exceeding revenue targets.Deep knowledge of clinical trials, regulatory requirements, and the clinical consulting landscape.Strong leadership, negotiation, and strategic selling skills.Benefits: Medical: (plan options: HMO*, PPO and High Deductible Plan with a Health Savings Account) * HMO plan only available to those in New England geographyDentalVisionFlexible time offCompany Paid HolidaysShort Term & Long-Term Disability InsuranceFlexible Spending Accounts (healthcare and dependent care options)401K planVoluntary life insurance (employee, spouse, child)
