About the Role As the Managing Director, Federal Law Enforcement & Civilian, you will contribute to a variety of areas including:
Own and lead the territory sales, revenue, and P&L for the territory. Provide strategic and operational leadership to all types of field sales roles and PM's to aggressively meet sales, revenue retention, and organizational objectives. Design and develop strategies to increase market share and grow short- and long-term business through management within the territory. Lead creation and execution of strategy within the territory to maximize current and future growth of products and solutions. Prospect in the assigned territory for new-to-TRSS accounts and leads new business proposals. Establish solid, long-term customer relationships and cultivate new business opportunities by diagnosing needs, presenting solutions, and addressing customer concerns. Attain assigned sales and revenue goals by closing new sales opportunities. Partner with other Thomson Reuters business units to facilitate new sales. Keep up to date on competitive activities in accounts and communicate information to TRSS leadership. Direct and manage Proof-of-Concepts (POCs) to prospective clients in close coordination with the TRSS Sales and delivery teams including the analysis and product/technical business units. About You You're a good fit for the role of Managing Director, Federal Law Enforcement & Civilian if you meet the following criteria:
Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. national security clearance. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required. Minimum of 10 years of government sales or account/program management experience. Working knowledge of sales concepts, methods, and techniques. Ambitious self-starter with high energy and motivation. Excellent communication, presentation and closing skills. Effective time management skills. Government sales and account management experience required. Public records/open-source data experience strongly preferred. Strong understanding of the government acquisition process. Ability to travel to meetings and customer locations. Customer service orientation and experience. Proficient in MS Office/internet. What's in it For You?
