The Managing Director, Credit Policy provides high-level support to Webster's credit policy program and assists in implementing program enhancements. Primary responsibilities: Manage the credit policy inventory and the policy review cycles (including working independently with key stakeholders during the review process). As credit policy requirements continue to evolve, responsibilities would also include assisting in adopting best practices including implementing enhancements and/or changes to the overall credit policy framework. Duties & Responsibilities: Set the policy annual review calendar, establish the agenda for CPC meetings and coordinate scheduling of all meetings. Run the CPC meetings and memorialize the discussion into meeting minutes. Lead or assist in the initial redlining of credit policies and procedures as part of the full review cycles or on an ad-hoc basis, including ensuring that policies reflect current regulatory guidance. Effectively communicate and collaborate with key stakeholders regarding credit policy and procedure related matters. Coordinate with the commercial administration loan system administrators to relay system changes needed due to policy updates. Coordinate with the How2Work administrator on credit policy-related issues/needs. Maintain an updated, comprehensive Commercial and Consumer credit policy inventory and Commercial credit procedure inventory. Distribute and maintain Credit Policy Bulletins. Maintain the policy and procedure archives. Assist in addressing regulatory and internal audit credit policy-related information requests. Assist in implementing enhancements to the credit policy framework, including potentially large-scale projects. Experience: Bachelor's degree in finance, Business or related area required. Minimum of 7 - 10 years of Commercial Banking experience required. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Experience writing and/or reviewing policies and/or legal documents preferred. Experience supporting programs and/or implementing projects and initiatives. Proficient knowledge of Windows and applications. The estimated salary range for this position is $ 150,000 to $ 165,000 USD . Actual salary may vary up or down depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
