North County Philanthropy Council (NCPC) is searching for a dynamic, energetic, experienced professional to operate and manage the Council. Details about NCPC can be found on the website: https://ncphilanthropy.org Title: Managing Director Position Description: Responsible for the operations of the NCPC including: planning an annual calendar, developing membership, programming activities and speakers, fundraising, planning marketing, and implementing all events (SD Gives on April – September and Volunteer Award Celebration (VAC) in November), support to Board and Committees, and all activities associated with the Council. Required to attend all NCPC events and activities in-person. Reports to the board president.

Experience Required: Must have a valid CA driver's license, a reliable automobile, insurance, and willingness to drive off-site/travel throughout San Diego County. Education – BA/BS degree at minimum or equivalent. Experience – minimum of 5 years of fundraising or business development experience, with a strong understanding and foundation of fundraising strategies and tactics. Partnerships – needs experience with businesses, non-profit leaders and other relevant professional service providers. Technical Skills – must have experience working with CRM software (Neon One, WordPress, and Cara experience a plus). Communication/Interpersonal Skills – must be articulate, poised, and possess strong writing skills and have the ability to listen to, connect with, and inspire donors and members. Administration – proven to be detail oriented and possess excellent project management skills, including budgeting, event planning, program development. Annual Salary Range: $69,000 – $75,000
