Your role:
We are seeking a seasoned Managing Director-Lead Attorney to join our team and spearhead the opening of our new office. Serving as a community ambassador, this candidate will possess a wealth of experience in criminal or civil litigation with a strong emphasis on family law, as well as the ability to inspire and guide other attorneys. They will be self-driven and results-oriented with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. The Lead Attorney will be tasked with oversight of the office and culture, ensuring an environment that provides exceptional client service. You will become the leader of the Richmond site and own its growth within the JC Law portfolio.
Your responsibilities: Managing a team of hand-selected attorneys and paralegalsHiring, training, and developing the Richmond teamProviding representation for clients in legal cases on a billable-hour basisManaging a regular schedule of hearings and court appearancesEvaluating and analyzing any evidence that may prove beneficial to your clientsRepresenting the firm in the community as the lead Richmond attorney for JC LawMarketing the firm's services to potential clients and managing existing client relationshipsEnsuring all Richmond staff deliver performance expectations to include billables, sales calls, client satisfaction, and case outcomesWorking alongside the headquarters office dailyYour experience: Licensed and in good standing to practice Law in the state of VirginiaExperienced leader of a team of attorneysExcellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skillsExperience litigating domestic/civil casesOrganized, able to effectively manage time and multitaskKnowledgeable in family law areas including childcare, paternity, adoption, domestic violence, ancillary relief, financial settlements, etc.Adept at drafting custody agreements, wills, divorces, annulments, prenuptial agreements, child custody, support, visitation rights, etc.Extensive practice in negotiation and persuasion techniquesExcellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with a diverse clientele, including children and the elderlyYour incentives:

Compensation:
The targeted salary range for this role is $130,000-$165,000/annually – commensurate with experience. An additional compensation package includes a generous bonus program, a sales commissions plan, and long-term incentives.
