JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY The Managing Director, Owned Asset Marketing is responsible for leading the overall marketing strategy and execution for the owned asset portfolio of the organization.
This role ensures that marketing efforts align with business objectives, drive revenue growth, and build a strong brand presence, while serving as a strategic leader to test, optimize and collaborate on new initiatives that include owned assets.
The Managing Director will oversee the owned asset property marketing team (nationally), manage budgets, and collaborate with other departments to ensure a unified approach to market engagement.
JOB DESCRIPTION KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Visionary and Transformational Leadership: Focuses on the future, inspiring others to pursue long-term visions, challenging the status quo, and pushing boundaries.Strategic Marketing and Business Leadership: Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to achieve business goals nationally and by region.Brand Management and Development: Manage and evolve the company's brand identity through the owned asset portfolio to ensure consistency and impact.Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing marketing team.Digital Marketing and Innovation: Drive digital marketing initiatives, including SEO/SEM, email marketing, social media, and content strategies.Performance Analysis and Recommendations: Ensure data-driven decision-making through analytics, reporting, and optimization.Market Research and Consumer Insights: Conduct market analysis to understand industry trends, competition, and customer behavior.Budgeting and Financial Management: Track ROI on all marketing initiatives and ensure cost-effective strategies and budgeting approaches.Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with national marketing and shared-services leaders/strategies to align marketing strategies with overall company goals.Client Service: Fully understand the needs and goals of internal and external stakeholders and clients.BASIC KNOWLEDGE & QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related fields.Minimum of 8-10 years of marketing experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.Proven experience in a leadership role within the real estate industry.Ability to positively motivate and lead large teams.Proven track record of high-level marketing strategy development.Excellent communication (written/oral), pitch, and negotiation abilities.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.TRAVEL / PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Team members work in an office or remote work environment.

ADDITIONAL COMPENSATION: Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including business requirements, prior experience, current skills, and geographical location.

Onsite Property Positions: In addition to the base salary, this role may be eligible to participate in weekly, monthly, and/or quarterly bonus programs.
