Work directly with the group head of the emerging growth division in an underwriting and relationship support capacity.
Management of complex Commercial Banking credit account relationships.
Closes new business relationships and retains and expands relationships with existing customers.
Underwriting of loans, management of the credit portfolio, sales call, and management of credit risk.
Customer service as needed.
Responsibilities:Partners with Relationship Manager to manage high-level Commercial Banking credit account relationships.Closes new business relationships and retains and expands relationships with existing customers.Underwrites loans, manages an assigned credit portfolio, makes own calls on assigned portfolio of credits, and manages credit risk.Provides customer service, participates in joint sales calls with Relationship Managers, responds to prospect or customer credit questions, identifies appropriate products, services, and cross-sell opportunities for prospects and customers while coordinating appropriate referrals.Coordinates and manages loan closings and portfolio management responsibilities with back-office functions.Owns the necessary internal policy and procedures for the emerging growth division.Prepares and presents on all problem asset and portfolio review meetings, as necessary.Education, Skills & ExperienceEducation: Bachelor's degree; courses in accounting and finance field preferred.Experience: 10+ years of prior professional experience or equivalent; professional experience in commercial banking underwriting and/or portfolio management related position is preferred.Excellent analytic skills and attention to detail.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Strong competency in Microsoft Office suite - including Excel and PowerPoint.Good interpersonal skills with the ability to interface with relationship managers, portfolio managers, credit officers, clients, and senior management.The estimated salary range for this position is $140,000 USD to $160,000 USD.
Actual salary may vary up or down depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
In addition, this position is eligible for incentive compensation.
