The ideal candidate will be forming a new dedicated centralized resource team focused on active portfolio exposure management.
The team will work with LOBs and specialty partners to develop options to de-risk and reduce exposures to better manage risks/returns.
This role facilitates profitable growth, risk management, and enhanced return initiatives for the Bank.
Responsibilities include:
Working with lines of business and product partners to develop options to de-risk or reduce loan exposures.Analyzing the portfolio to identify candidates and advising relationship managers on de-risking strategies.Serving as the central point of contact coordinating processes between stakeholders.Ensuring documentation, reporting, and data requirements are addressed satisfactorily and internal control standards are met.Providing training and advice to relationship managers on de-risking options and borrower fit.Identifying issues, gaps, and process improvements through open communication.Acting as a trusted advisor to senior leaders for making business decisions.Managing resources and leading the execution of strategic initiatives.Qualifications: Typically 9+ years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.This position requires Credit Qualification and an in-depth level of Credit knowledge and skills.An undergraduate degree, with focal areas in finance, economics, or accounting preferred.15+ years of relevant experience in negotiating and structuring financial transactions.Minimum of 15 years in financial services industry experience in a corporate lending environment.Verbal & written communication skills - Expert.Analytical and problem-solving skills - Expert.Influence skills - Expert.Collaboration & team skills - Expert.Salary: $153,600.00 - $285,600.00
Pay Type: Salaried
