We're seeking a future team member for the role ofManaging Editorto join our BK Publishing team. This HYBRID role will be based inNew York. In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:Team Management: The role involves supervising and mentoring the production team, while also coordinating the efforts of the editorial and design teams. Leading weekly meetings is crucial to ensure that all team members are on the same page, fully understand their expectations, and are equipped to meet their deadlines.Operational Strategy: Developing and implementing strategies to optimize workflow and efficiency, initiating long-term planning, and identifying areas for improvement.Content Production: Overseeing the production process across teams for both print and digital platforms, supervising multiple projects, and reviewing content for quality control.Budget and Distribution Management: Creating and managing budgets, collaborating with other departments, and overseeing the distribution of print publications.To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:Bachelor's degree required. 5+ years of experience in editorial leadership, preferably in a digital media environment.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on clear and concise messaging.Proven ability to manage and motivate a team, driving creativity and innovation.#LI-HybridAt BNY Mellon, our inclusive culture speaks for itself. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $119,000 and $221,000 per year at the commencement of employment.
