Richard is Rix & Kay's Managing Partner and a specialist commercial property lawyer based in Kent. He is a member of the Leadership Team responsible for the continued growth of the firm.
With over 25 years of experience in commercial property in Ashford, Sevenoaks, and throughout the South East, he works with some of the firm's most important clients, helping them to manage their commercial property interests to deliver both sustainable revenue streams and a sound base for successful business operations.

Richard has acted as the trusted legal advisor to a family farming business for many years. He recently guided the family through the acquisition of a 143-acre farm, including simultaneous negotiation of a surrender of Agricultural Holdings Act tenancy and subsequently acting on the disposal of the majority of the farmland to a prospective housing developer with a leaseback on a Farm Business Tenancy.
