Randstad is looking for Production Associates for our food processing client in Aurora, IL. This company is the industry leader in meal-kit subscription services and is growing quickly! As a Production Associate, you will work with your team to ensure maximum productivity and be responsible for following all safety, GMP and SQF policies/procedures, as well as adherence to PPE/hygiene policies, in cooperation with the supervisor.
Entry Level No experience necessary Will train!!
Production position
* 1st shift: 5:30am - 3:30pm, $17.75/hr
* 2nd shift: 3:30pm -1:30am, $19.25/hr Weekly Pay on Fridays!!
Production Responsibilities:
* work on assembly line, scooping, cleaning tray liners, at end of line or beginning doing different things - beginning of line requires heavy lifting up to 25 pounds.
* Coldest department, dress in layers.
* Not as cold as Hearthside -- between 32 and 34 degrees, but feels different depending on where you are.
Kitchen positions:
* 1st shift is 4am-2:30pm $17.75/hour
* 2nd is 2:00pm-12:30am $19.25/hour
* Cold environment, 32 to 34 degrees but you're moving around so it doesn't feel as cold.
Kitchen Responsibilities:
* When shipment comes in they de- box items and take over to trays.
* Sometimes shift trays to the chef area for cooking.
* Typically de-boxing.
* Lifting up to 25 pounds.
You must be...
* Able to work in a cold refrigerated prep area kept at 35 degrees.
* Able to regularly lift and move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds with or without assistance.
