JOB SUMMARY
The manufacturing engineer is responsible for applying and creating with technology to monitor or control production and delivery of products and designing, programming, simulating, and testing automated machinery and processes in order to complete exact tasks.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Design layout of equipment or workspaces to achieve maximum efficiencyDesign, install, or troubleshoot manufacturing equipmentDesign testing methods and test finished products or process capabilities to establish standards or validate process requirementsApply continuous improvement methods such as lean manufacturing to enhance manufacturing quality, reliability, or cost-effectivenessIdentify opportunities or implement changes to improve products or reduce costs using knowledge of fabrication processes, tooling and production equipment, assembly methods, quality control standards, or product design, materials and partsCommunicate manufacturing capabilities, production schedules, or other information to facilitate production processesEvaluate manufactured products according to specifications and quality standardsIncorporate new methods and processes to improve existing operationsInvestigate or resolve operational problems, such as material use variances or bottlenecksEstimate costs, production times, or staffing requirements for new designsPrepare documentation for new manufacturing processes or engineering proceduresPurchase equipment, materials, or partsReview product designs for manufacturability or completenessPrepare reports summarizing information or trends related to manufacturing performanceProvide technical expertise or support related to manufacturingAbility to apply leadership skills for future department growthFollow safety rules and keep clean/orderly work areaPerform other duties as required or assigned

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
