As the Manufacturing Coordinator, you ensure our local supply chain operations run smoothly on a daily basis. You will work closely with our internal Manufacturing department as well as local suppliers to meet Tekton's production needs.
\n Responsibilities: • Manage purchasing, pricing, and demand data in our ERP system• Review inventory demand data• Place purchase orders to local manufacturing suppliers• Send production and shipping expectations to suppliers• Attend regular check-in calls and visits with suppliers• Update the company on current inventory levels and unexpected inventory situations• Challenge our current methods to minimize days out of stock, reduce work in process inventory, and improve the efficiency of our local supply chain Indicators of a good match for this role:• You are comfortable working with data management systems• You are organized and are known for catching the smallest of details• You are constantly learning and testing new techniques• You can adapt to changing priorities and pivot without hesitation• You are confident in your technical abilities• You are bold and take action on projects with minimal supervision and direction• You think like a mechanic• You are able to manage several projects at once• You have exceptional values including honesty, integrity, and empathy Baseline qualifications: • Strong engineering aptitude with detailed product knowledge• Comprehensive background with mechanical tools• Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship Location and hoursThis is a full-time salaried position located in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
