Description: Summary:
Develops and implements optimal, cost-effective manufacturing processes and methods in accordance with product specifications and quality standards.
Recommends and implements improvements to production processes, methods and controls using lean principles.
Responsible for engineering changes and change control management.
Coordinates and plans manufacturing launch for new and revised products.
Provide Industrial Engineering support to all manufacturing operations through the application of lean manufacturing / Kaizen principles.
Develop work instructions, process flow layout, set-up procedures while adhering to safety, quality and productivity procedures and policies.
Primary responsibilities include the following, other duties may be assigned:
Confers with production control, tool/tool path design programmers, manufacturing, and quality assurance concerning product design and tooling to ensure efficient production methods.
Confers with management, engineering, and other staff regarding manufacturing capabilities, production schedules, and other considerations to facilitate production processes.
Provides support to plant floor as requested.
Maintain all required customer documentation.
Review customer specification changes for impact to product and takes appropriate action.
Implement new orders and changes to orders in the manufacturing process.
Requirements: Requirements
Skills and Abilities:
Solid Works proficiency a must.
High aptitude in GD&T and can create/interpret work instructions.
Ability to generate detailed assembly instructions.
Computer skills should include proficiency with MS Office products.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
Successfully drive simultaneous activities, meet deadlines, and achieve results.
MasterCam Programming experience
Experience with JobBOSS a plus

You enjoy working directly on equipment: getting your hands dirty is a requirement.
You have a mechanical aptitude and enjoy working with tools, practical manufacturing mindset.
You can drive the manufacturing process toward maximum stability, repeatability, and quality.
You are committed to the scientific method; you use physical and materials knowledge to form hypotheses, independently measure characteristics of parts and materials (metrology) and make data-driven decisions to improve the processes.
Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner so that you get along with customers, co-workers and management.
Continue to grow lean knowledge and use the tools to identify and assist with continuous improvement.
Education and/or Experience: Engineering Degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Aerospace, or similar discipline.
2+ years' experience in manufacturing environment.
